Spring Tablescape Blog Hop!
Once again, I am honored to be hopping with these amazing Bloggers. This year the Tablescape Blog Hop is one day. I hope we have given you some wonderful ideas. The links are at the bottom of this post.
If you are stopping by after visiting Liz at Home and Gardening with Liz, Welcome!

I know it’s a Spring Tablescape, but once February is over I’m thinking about St. Patrick’s Day.
As I was preparing for the Spring Tablescape Blog Hop, I had other visions for my table. Visions of flowers and bunnies and carrots, but then as I was strolling through the Dollar Tree last week, my mind did a total flip flop.

St. Patrick’s Day Tablescape!
I saw all of these fun St. Patrick’s Day items and I decided to set my table pretty for a nice St. Patrick’s Day Dinner for the boys and I. I only spent $10 on all the items and I think my table came out “cute as a button!”

I’m not really a huge drinker or a huge corned beef and cabbage type of gal and so St. Patrick’s Day isn’t really one of those holidays I usually spend too much time thinking about. But the Dollar Tree visit set me onto a different path.
It kind of started with the hat and bowtie. I thought it would be fun to have a flower arrangement in the hat. Stay tuned on Thursday I’ll show you exactly how I created this St. Patrick’s Day Floral Centerpiece.

For this tablescape, I used my regular white charges, white dishes and glassware that we eat with everyday. It was nothing fancy. The clovers are green and the coins are gold and I decided on gold silverware to add some extra pop.

I stuck the plastic, yes plastic silverware, into the glasses as there was not much room for it on the place setting. This is a casual meal hence the plastic silverware and mason jar glasses.

I laid Dollar Store scarves down the center of the table to act as a table runner. It was a fun project and I hope you enjoy seeing it.

Don’t forget to check out all the other blogger’s Tablescapes, they are certain to Wow you!

Thanks Sweet Friend!
Cynthia, you have really created such a fun table for St. Patrick’s Day! Your hat centerpiece is adorable and I love that you added the flowers for Spring. A trip to the Dollar store is always fun! Clearly I need to go! Happy Spring!
So cute! You found some great St. Pat’s things at $store! Green white and gold is perfect for St. Pat’s and early Spring~ Love the whimsical hat centerpiece!
Very cute St. Patrick’s Day inspired tablescape! I did a St. Patrick’s day table once with a hat and florals once too! It was fun and yours is adorable! Spring can mean so many things with flowers emerging, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter!
Thanks Sweet Friend!
Your table is adorable – love the look and the price. 🙂
A tip of the leprechaun’s hat to you Cynthia for styling such a darling, fun and affordable St. Paddy’s Day table! Because of both hubby and my Irish ancestry, I set both a casual table in the kitchen, and a more dressy one in the dining room. And, like you, my favorite centerpiece uses a leprechaun’s hat! But, I never thought of hiding a vase within the hat to include fresh flowers! We are heading to Ireland this summer and your table has me longing to get there!
Thanks Sweet Friend!
Pretty table! The vibrant green color feels so festive and springy. And your hat centerpiece is so creative and fun!

Cynthia, that’s a very clever use of DT elements in creating your St. Patty’s Day tablescape! What better way to celebrate Spring than with the wearin’ of the green? One of the best tools in a table stylist’s toolbox is having a set of white dishes from which to start a table, am I right? Your layering gives great impact for this cheerful table of green, white and gold!
Cynthia, I love your St. Patrick’s Day table! The scarf runner is so pretty and the hats and bows make an adorable accompaniment. Happy March!!!
Cynthia, I became amazed with your St. Pat’s Day tablescape. Your floral=derby hat centerpiece is so clever and unique and quite stunning. It really brings a pop of bright color from the striking green. The scarves are another lovely touch and adds more color and pattern and is definitely a good idea when buying a new tablecloth is not possible. The details like the clover, coins and clover cut-out placemats really create a fun and beautiful table. Happy Spring.
Marsha,
Thank you for your kind comments. I am so glad I amazed you with my table.
