Life changes and sometimes things need to be put on pause. My website and my brand is changing (kinda changing) and growing and I’m going to shift things and pause my Weekly Round Ups. Starting this website was a long time dream in the making.  Motherhood kept me so busy for many years and still does today.  But Luke and Troy are only 15 and 12, but much more independent every day.  I am so honored to be there Mom. Back in July of 2018 when I finally took the plunge and went full in on Create With Cynthia it was a scary, but a very exciting dream come true.

Happy Saturday, Sweet Friends and and if this is your first time stopping by, welcome to Weekly Round Up Edition #39! This week was full of crafting for the Master Bedroom and getting ready for Mother’s Day. My bedroom has been the theme for the month of May. You’ll notice last week, I re-created a desk space in my bedroom when I talked about “How to Create a Morning Routine During Quarantine.” I hope you enjoyed the project as much as I did.

Carrot Wreath!

What’s going on in Blog Land and with my Family of Five.

We are six weeks into Shelter in Place, here in Northern California and life has changed. We have a new normal that we have been forced to adjust to. I’m grateful my little family of five is staying safe and healthy.

Most schools have transitioned to distance learning indefinetly. Creating desk spaces for all three of us has become a necessity. Therefore, we needed to make some furniture adjustments. Since Luke and Troy won’t be returning to school anytime soon. On the days that Luke is with me, he prefers to sit at my desk in the Family Room. Troy has found his groove at the kitchen table and I set up a new station for myself in my bedroom. The “Sewing Cabinet turned Desk” originally was made for the boys room, but was better situated for my bedroom from the start. Sofy enjoys this spot as she can watch the birds, squirrels and deer that visit the backyard.

My pups are living a new life with me and the boys “Sheltering in Place.” It is not their norm, but they are loving it. Oreo loves being the center of attention especially when I get the iPhone camera out. Sofy, occasionally has to tell me to get off the laptop by popping her cute little face over my screen.
