Looking for ideas on how to create a St. Patrick’s Day Tablescape? Dollar Store items can transform any table setting. St. Patrick’s Day Tablescape for Spring!

St. Patrick’s Day reminds me of Spring, Sweet Friends, but did you know Spring starts on March 20th? St. Patrick’s Day is March 17th. Will you be celebrating this Irish holiday? For the Spring Tablescape Blog Hop I decided on celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. It’s almost Spring, right?

I know it’s a Spring Tablescape, but once February is over I’m thinking about St. Patrick’s Day.

As I was preparing for the Spring Tablescape Blog Hop, I had other visions for my table. Visions of flowers and bunnies and carrots, but then as I was strolling through the Dollar Tree last week, my mind did a total flip flop.

St. Patrick’s Day Tablescape!

I saw all of these fun St. Patrick’s Day items and I decided to set my table pretty for a nice St. Patrick’s Day Dinner for the boys and I. I only spent $10 on all the items and I think my table came out “cute as a button!”

I’m not really a huge drinker or a huge corned beef and cabbage type of gal and so St. Patrick’s Day isn’t really one of those holidays I usually spend too much time thinking about. But the Dollar Tree visit set me onto a different path.

It kind of started with the hat and bowtie. I thought it would be fun to have a flower arrangement in the hat. Stay tuned on Thursday I’ll show you exactly how I created this St. Patrick’s Day Floral Centerpiece.

For this tablescape, I used my regular white charges, white dishes and glassware that we eat with everyday. It was nothing fancy. The clovers are green and the coins are gold and I decided on gold silverware to add some extra pop.

I stuck the plastic, yes plastic silverware, into the glasses as there was not much room for it on the place setting. This is a casual meal hence the plastic silverware and mason jar glasses.

I laid Dollar Store scarves down the center of the table to act as a table runner. It was a fun project and I hope you enjoy seeing it.
