In this Saturday edition, I’ll be sharing with you the following:
Create With Cynthia Blog Posts for the week.
What do you do with all your holiday cards when the season is over? Check out what I do with mine. I’m also sharing ideas for recycling, repurposing and crafting holiday cards here. But if you aren’t into that kinda thing, there’s always the garbage can.
I have been decorating and decorating and decorating. It felt like it took forever. At last all the holiday decorating is completed, as there is no more to do. And now here I am showing off my home. Enjoy!
This message is intended for ALL of you! Happy Holidays and thank you for being part of the Create With Cynthia community. Did you catch my Holiday Home Tour on You Tube? You can watch it here. Weekly Round Up Edition #20!
NOT what’s going on in BlogLand! What’s going on in my home!
I had an amazing Christmas!!! The boys and I had a nice early dinner out at a yummy restaurant on Christmas Eve. The boys and I visited family over the weekend. Christmas Eve we were able to hang out and spend time together in our home.
This Mama’s favorite place is not in the kitchen. Baking is one thing I enjoy. But when it comes to cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner, I’d rather set a pretty table to admire and go out to eat. What’s your preference?
After our meal out, we prepared for Santa’s arrival by baking cookies. We made cookies and played games and the boys opened one present.
We set the cookies and milk on the coffee table for Santa, and boy, oh boy, did Sofy have her eye on those cookies.
Divorce is difficult for kiddos and I get that! But, thankfully, Troy has had a positive outlook. A couple weeks back he said to me, “Mom, you know what makes divorce ok?” Shockling I stared at him. “Mom, I get two Christmas’s full of gifts!”
Christmas in our home!
Every Christmas morning, the boys wake up and the first thing they do is go and see if Santa came. This year, of course, Troy headed straight to the Faux Fireplace where the stockings hung. He grabbed his stocking and enjoyed digging out all the goodies. At this age, it’s full of candy!
After stockings and presents were opened, we had a nice breakfast of cinnamon rolls and bacon.
My Christmas day was amazing and for that I am forever grateful. Thank you, Sweet Friends, for letting me share a little about my day with you.
Now go out there and create something.
