Have you heard the story about those that carry a Blue Bucket on Halloween Night? The story went viral and is all over blogland. In honor of Autism Awareness and my “Faux Pumpkins Turned Blue” I want to spread the word.
One Mom with a three year old son with non-verbal autism has created a scenario which allows her son to go trick or treating without the pressure of speaking. The Blue Bucket her son carries identifies him as Autistic and unable to speak and say “Trick or Treat!” This Mom states, “I have made this post public in hopes you will share and get the BLUE BUCKET message out there for Autism Awareness this Halloween!” You can read her message here.
