Hey there Sweet Friends, today on the blog I am going to be sharing with you about a Dresser that I painted and hated.

EEK!

IKR!

IOD Decor Transfer on a Dresser!

Sometimes when your painting furniture it just doesn’t go the way you’d hoped.

Layer after layer of paint and the look your achieving just isn’t happening.

That’s when I pull out my IOD Decor Transfers. The one I used on this dresser is Midnight Garden Transfer #5.

A couple weeks back I posted, “Wood Dressers and What I love about them.” You can read about that here.

I was really unhappy with that post. I hated the way that first dresser looked?

Why I hit publish on that post is still unknown to me.

The Dresser was free, of course and it was difficult from the start because the bottom two drawers were missing.

I love to refurbish furniture but the carpentry part can sometimes throw me off, and this time it sure did.

Besides, I’ve only been at this new business less than a year so I probably need to just cut myself a little slack.

Here’s the before and after. What do you think now?

I used the Iron Orchid Design Midnight Garden #5. I will be selling them soon, but I bought this one on JamiRay Vintage website.
