Hey there, Sweet Friends, today on the blog I am sharing with you my latest, “Hand Paint Vintage Dresser.” The dresser is for sale!
“One of a Kind” Vintage Painted Dresser!
I purchased this dresser from someone on Facebook Marketplace and decided to paint it using Dionne Woods of the Turquoise Iris “paint blending technique.” #dothedionne
I’ve spoken about Dionne before, in my post “Lil Ms. Iris and Dionne”. I have been following her since January and have learned so much.
Two most important things when painting furniture!
I believe there are two very important things to keep in mind when painting furniture.
- Use a good paint brush. I love the Paint Pixie Blending Brush.
- Use good paint. I love using DIY Paint because it is Chalk based with no VOC’s and it blends well. I find it to be one of the easiest paints to use. There are 36 beautiful colors!
Visit my website at www.CreateWithCynthia.com and click on the Shop category to purchase these products. As you know, a couple weeks ago I announced that I am now a Retailer of DIY Paint. You can also purchase at my store in Redwood City, 615 Woodside Road, Suite 3. The Dresser is in the store if you’d like to see it in person.
For this dresser, I used the following DIY Paint colors:
- Letterpress Grey
- Old 57
- Hey Sailor
- Bohemian Blue
For a technique like this you should consider 3-5 colors!
The Hand Painted, One of a Kind, Vintage Dresser is for sale in my store and on Facebook Marketplace.
Have a great day!
