Thanksgiving ideas from KariAnne.

With Thanksgiving a few weeks away and KariAnne being my favorite blogger ever, it seemed perfectly appropriate to introduce her to you.

Let’s begin with the story of how I met KariAnne.  

One day, years ago, when I was sitting in Cubicle Nation….bored and surfing the web, I stumbled across a website called Thistlewood Farms.

Years ago, when the ThistleWood Farms Website Writer spoke about wearing red lipstick and stirrup pants… I kindof fell in love.

Not like, “fell in love with a guy-type”, but “fell in love with the idea-type.”

I fell in love with the idea of having a website and writing a blog post daily.

Unfortunately though, for me…years ago, it wasn’t an option.  

I had babies and worked in Cublicle Nation and there was no time for anything else, except……

Subscribing to this website written by this blonde lady who spoke about wearing red lipstick and stirrup pants.

And so that’s what I did.  And then I started reading her blog posts daily, and enjoying them and even looking forward to them.  #addictedtoThistlewoodFarms

I found KariAnne to be so very funny and endearing and she had great ideas and great style and well…….  I wanted that too.

But, I had babies and Cubicle Nation and no support or encouragement from those in my life to follow my dreams.  

Until May of 2018, when I realized, “You only get one life!”

Everything changed.  I decided to follow my dreams and I signed up to attend Haven, a Conference for Bloggers, and I was lucky enough to meet this Blonde gal who wore red lipstick and stirrup pants and everything since then has changed.  You can read about that amazing trip here.
