Today on the blog I am sharing with you, Sweet Friends, about my space in Redwood City, California. I hope that you will stop by and do a little holiday shopping.
DIY Crafts and Painted Furniture at my space in Redwood City.
Craft Workshops using A Maker’s Studio products.
On Friday evenings I host “Craft Workshops” also known as “Pop Up Parties” using A Maker’s Studio products, since I am a Maker Boss. You can read all about the Launch of A Maker’s Studio here.
If you’d like to join my Pop Up Party at 7pm this Friday evening, it’s not too late to RSVP. We will be using A Maker’s Studio Rescue and Restore Paint, Adhesive Stencils and Adhesive Stamps with Chalk Art. All of my guest will take home a cute wall hanging that each has created and it’s FREE. I have a few spots left so leave a comment if you’d like to attend.
The “Simply Bee” Sign is my new favorite saying!!! For this DIY Craft project, I used A Maker’s Studio Mesh Stencil Alphabet 1 and the Clear Stamp – Vintage Icon.
Refurbished Furniture pieces also land at my space in Redwood City.
I am fortunate to have a backroom to also store refurbished furniture items I am selling on my website. You can see those pieces here.
On the top shelf in the picture above is my most recent Gilded Vase. A Maker’s Studio has a unique product called Leaf and you can Gild it to any surface. The leaf on this vase is called Variegated Leaf and can be purchased here. If you are interested in learning the technique on how to Gild you can read that blog post here.
Sweet Pickins Milk Paint is for sale.
For those who love painting with Milk Paint, I carry Sweet Pickins Milk Paint in all the colors, as well as, Sweet Pickins Waxes, Sealers and Brushes in my space in Redwood City.
Sweet Pickins Milk Paint is unique in that it provides a Chippy Finish to your furniture piece. The Paint contains no VOC’s and comes in a powder form.
Essential Stencils unique designs make every holiday fun!
If you stop by you’ll see that I carry a few Essential Stencils and Brushes. These are of flexible mylar material and reusable. I really like using them with A Maker’s Studio Chalk Art.
If you purchase the Essential Stencils through my website, here, I receive a small commission.
Iron Orchid Designs (IOD) Decor Transfers are another of my favorite things. They come in a variety of designs and create a great gift for your friends. Especially those that already have everything.
I purchase my IOD Decor Transfers on the web. You can do a google search to find a retailer. The Red Flowers are called Redoute 4 and the Blue Flowers are called Wild Flower Botanicals.
The little white end table above was painted with A Maker’s Studio Rescue and Restore paint in Blessed and I then used the Mesh Stencil “Floor Tile Clubs” with Rescue and Restore Paint in Gathered. A Maker’s Studio products are top quality in that they contain no VOC’s or Methadone and smell just like essential oils.
I am SO Grateful for this phase of my life and especially for my dear friends John and Annie. My space in Redwood City is located inside John’s Store at 615 Woodside Road, Suite 3, Redwood City, California. Without John’s love and support I am not certain “Create With Cynthia” would exist. As most of you know starting your own business is challenging to say the least. I am following a life long dream and John and Annie are helping me make it happen.
Thank you, Sweet Friends, for reading and please do come and visit my space. John will greet you with a nice smile and endearing, “How can I help you today.”
