With Christmas just a few days away I decided to set up a Coffee & Hot Cocoa Holiday Bar.  There is a spot in my kitchen I originally targeted as my Coffee Station.  Last month I painted the cabinets from a black color using Annie Sloan’s Pure White and Duck Egg.  I love to have my calendar there so as I’m making my coffee (I usually have one cup of Starbucks Via) I can review my week.

So in order for my Coffee & Hot Cocoa Holiday Bar to be complete, I decided to stencil some holiday towel’s.  The Hot Cocoa and Candy Canes were done using Essential Stencils.  Of course I did an extra set because this is a great holiday gift for my family and friends.  You can watch the video on You Tube, and please don’t forget to subscribe to my channel and hit the notifications button so you’ll be notified when I post a new video.

Can you see the Christmas Tree in the Merry Christmas terra cotta pot.  That was made with A Maker’s Studio Mesh Stencil in Merry Christmas 8.5 x 11 and A Maker’s Studio Chalk Art in Together Forever.  After the holidays, I plan to plant the Christmas Tree in the woods and can just wash the Merry Christmas off the Terra Cotta pot.

Now for some tips when stenciling with Essential Stencils and Gel Art Inks.  For this project I used the Essential Stencil Christmas Sweets Mini Sign 3 pack and the A Maker’s Studio Gel Art Inks in Bless His Heart and Can’t Never Could.

• Wash and iron towel prior to stenciling.
• Use blue tape to hold stencil in place on towel.
• Place cardboard under towel to avoid the Gel Art Ink from leaking to the other side.
• Let towel and Gel Art Ink dry for 3 hours then heat set with an iron at 250 degrees.
• Wash in cold warm and do not put in the dryer.
